I acknowledge that my home and office reside on the unceded lands of the Kumeyaay people. I express my gratitude and appreciation to the citizens of the Kumeyaay Nation, and respect their relationship with their ancestral lands.

I acknowledge that indigenous people, including my Celtic ancestors, have used psychedelics and other plant medicines in their cultural practices for thousands of years.

I acknowledge the sacredness and diversity of the ceremonial practices of Indigenous people in relationship with psychedelic medicines across Central and South America, Asia, Africa and Europe.

I acknowledge the impact of colonization on indigenous use of psychedelic medicines, and the courage and wisdom of those who have preserved the knowledge and practices.

I acknowledge that as a white, cis-gender woman of European descent, my privilege and social location may limit my understanding of the lived realities of many people. I am committed to actively listening to diverse perspectives and critically examining my own biases and blind spots, and welcome constructive feedback that supports this process.

I acknowledge the expertise and generosity of those outside of my culture, and the practitioners who came before me, who make it possible for me to share about using psychedelics in ways that promote the betterment of humanity.

Thank you ♥︎
