Integrative Psychotherapy
In psychotherapy we identify, process, and work through troubling thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences. As an integrative therapist, I utilize a wide range of techniques and philosophies that are catered uniquely to you. Sessions focus on assisting you with cultivating the insight, skills and lifestyle practices to support your growth. I believe that our hardest experiences are our greatest opportunities for growth and wisdom. When we start living in alignment with self-love, health, and our personal values, we create the space for healing to occur.
Integrative Breathwork
Breathwork is a healing modality that combines rhythmic diaphragmatic breathing and attention to the body and sensation, to elicit transformation. During this practice, breathing patterns are used to release stored physical and emotional tension, which can facilitate healing on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. On a psychological level, breathwork facilitates the relase of stored trauma in the subconscious mind. On a physical level, breathwork stimulates the vagus nerve, activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Please check out my blog on his topic if you're interested in learning more about the benefits.
Spiritual Counseling
Spiritual Counseling offers support for those looking to discover and connect with spiritual beliefs and practices that support their well-being. I frequently work with individuals: Recovering from religious trauma; Navigating spiritual awakening experiences; & Who identify as an "Empath" and want to work with this gift in a healthy and empowered way. The goal of this type of counseling is to connect with ideas and practices that support spiritual self-awareness and self-development. Defining and connecting to our personal spirituality can be one of the most powerful aspects of healing and recovery. I welcome all beliefs, practices and traditions that feel authentic to you.
Integration Sessions
Integration is essential after undergoing a transformational experience. There are many types of transformational experiences, which can come about using psychedelics, attending healing retreats, completing a pilgrimage, or through practices such as breathwork, yoga, or fasting. Any experience that fundamentally challenges your assumptions, beliefs, and values, or affects how you understand yourself, others, and the world. These sessions help you to process and embody your growth after doing deep inner work. During an integration session we will ground and integrate the content of your experience so that you can continue to live in alignment with what you've learned.
